Tunable blue light source by intracavity frequency doubling of a Cr-doped LiSAF laser

Abstract : A Cr3+:LiSrAIF6 laser in Q-switched operation at 10 kHz was intracavity frequency doubled by using a LiIOl crystal. The 230 ns tunable blue pulses were obtained in the 395-435 nm range with up to 7 mW average power at 407 nm
