High-repetition-rate ultrafast source emitting concomitantly in the 1.3 and 1.7 μm SWIR water-transparency bands for dual-color 3-photon microscopy

Abstract : We present a novel ultrafast laser design providing simultaneous excitation in the two water-transparency windows at 1.3 and 1.7 µm, and we demonstrate its potentiality for efficient 3-photon microscopy of nervous tissues.
