Time resolved build-up and decay of photorefractive and free carrier gratings in CdTe:V

Abstract : Laser-induced picosecond transient gratings are used to study carrier transport via free carrier and photorefractive nonlinearities. The feedback effect of a light-induced space charge electric field is found responsible for diffracted beam intensity oscillations during the grating recording and its decay
