Evaluation of a photorefractive two beam coupling novelty filter

Abstract : Theoretical and experimental study of a novelty filter is presented. We show that best performances are obtained when the images are presented to the set-up with a spatial light modulator operating as a linear phase modulator. We obtained a good accordance between the experimental curves and the calculated ones, what validates the model we develop for this novelty filter
