Volume Bragg grating external-cavity designs for coherent emission of an array of tapered diode lasers

Abstract : We report spatial brightness improvement of diode laser arrays in different extended-cavity setups, which take benefit of the narrow spectral bandwidth of volume Bragg gratings to lock the emission spectrum.
